You’d think that exercise would help prevent headaches and make you feel like a superhero. But sometimes I have been hit so hard with a “workout headache” that it has made me think twice about sweatin’ it up on a regular basis.

We love women/moms who revel in being grinders - who enjoy the mundane day in day out routines that make up the majority of our days. If we are honest with ourselves, people who can settle in and enjoy these routines are the ones who can stick to budgets and can stick to a workout routine. So why not embrace the grind, pride yourself in being a grinder!
Be a hero to your kids by showing joy for the repetitive things that can wear us down. A great way to fuel up for these activities is to break them up with peiods of activity, even small 5-10 minutes of activity. Make your walk to the bus a brisker walk. Kids love to be pushed in strollers faster, make it a race car. Put some headphones on with your favorite tune that energizes you while doing it.
If your reality feels like a never ending hampster wheel that has you scratching your head for work out time, then force fit your routine to become part of your exercise or movement time. According to numerous studies, sharing your working out journey with a partner will help you get your butt in gear.
As you're planning a fall schedule make sure you include time for you. Even 7-10 minutes a day for exercise will do it!

Thanks to my friends for taking my family and me out on the boat this past weekend! My girls had a fabulous time and we are so thankful for friends with boats! I have to say though, that boating is not for the weak and fragile. Nor can it be said that boating is relaxing and restful. At least not for me.
